Contact and policies
Contact
The organising committee's named contacts, with real email addresses and phone numbers, will be published here once the committee is confirmed.
Code of conduct
SASCON is a professional event. Everyone taking part, delegates, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, staff and volunteers, agrees to:
- treat others with respect, with no harassment, discrimination or intimidation of any kind;
- respect other people's consent around photography and recording;
- follow the instructions of conference staff and the venue's safety rules.
Report a concern to any member of conference staff or through the contacts above. Reports are handled discreetly. The organisers may exclude anyone who breaches this code.
In Conjunction With policy
Events held alongside SASCON 2027 that target its delegates require the organisers' written agreement. Blackout windows, during which no such event may run, will be published here so that sponsor events cannot overlap the conference programme.
Privacy notice
Who is responsible
The data controller for SASCON 2027 will be named here once the Ghanaian contracting entity is confirmed. It will register with Ghana's Data Protection Commission. GDPR and UK GDPR are treated as applying to delegates resident in those jurisdictions.

The 2028 handover
When the 2027 cycle closes, delegate records transfer to the host of SASCON 2028 as a controller-to-controller transfer, so the next edition does not start from nothing. That transfer is disclosed here, at the point of collection, and will be reflected in every consent you give on this site.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and withdraw any consent, at any time. Use the contacts above once they are published; requests are honoured and audited.
