About SASCON

The conference

SASCON is the ASIS International regional conference for Sub-Saharan Africa. The 2027 edition takes place in Accra, Ghana on 20 to 21 July 2027.

The lineage

SASCON rotates between host chapters each year:

• 2023: Abuja, Nigeria
• 2024: Nairobi, Kenya
• 2025: Lagos, Nigeria
• 2026: Cape Town, South Africa
• 2027: Accra, Ghana

The hosts

The 2027 edition is hosted by the three ASIS International chapters in Ghana, part of ASIS Region 11A. Ghana takes its turn as host as the conference continues its rotation across the region.

The theme

The 2027 theme will be announced once approved by ASIS International headquarters.
