When and where is SASCON 2027?

20 to 21 July 2027, in Accra, Ghana. The venue will be announced once it is confirmed.

Do I need a visa?

Most African delegates travel to Ghana without a visa, and almost everyone still needs an online authorisation before boarding. Find your route on the entry requirements page and confirm your own case on the official portal it links to.

How do I register, and how can I pay?

Registration is not yet open. When it opens, payment will be by card or mobile money, and prices will be published only once confirmed. Leave your address on the update form to be told when it opens.

Can I see or correct my registration record?

Yes. You can request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data at any time. How, and who holds it, is set out in the privacy notice.

How do I collect my badge?

Badge collection arrangements, including desk locations and opening hours, will be published here once the venue is confirmed.

What is the dress code?

The dress code will be published here once the organising committee confirms it.

Can I state dietary requirements?

Yes. Dietary requirements will be collected at registration, and what the venue can cater for will be published here once the venue is confirmed.

What accessibility provision is there?

The conference is committed to being accessible, and this website is built and tested to WCAG 2.1 AA. Venue-specific provision, step-free access, hearing support and quiet space, will be published here once the venue is confirmed. If you have a specific requirement, state it at registration.

Will there be Wi-Fi?

Are there prayer facilities?

Prayer facilities will be confirmed with the venue and published here.

Can I bring a partner?

Partner arrangements, and whether a partner programme runs alongside the conference, will be published here once confirmed.

Where should I stay?

A hotel block, with verified rates, will be published here and on the arrival guide once it is confirmed.

SASCON works with no booking agency for this event. Any call or email offering SASCON accommodation through an agency is fraudulent. Book only through the channels published on this site, and report any such approach to the contacts on the contact page.
